Military Sports organizes the “Homeland Defenders” volleyball tournament.

The “Hamat al-Watan” volleyball tournament was held, with the participation of six teams from various security agencies, at Al-Istiqlal University in the city of Jericho, yesterday, Tuesday, 9/19/2020. The tournament was organized by Military Sports, and witnessed an opening ceremony that included a welcome speech from Brigadier General Amal. Khalifa, Director of Military Sports, and presentations from the participating sports teams.

The opening was attended by a number of representatives of the security services (Dr. Nayef Jarad, Vice President of Al-Istiqlal University

Brigadier General Raed Daghlas, commander of the Jericho and Al-Aghwar region

Brigadier General Bassam Jabr, Director of the Police Union, Lieutenant Colonel Jalal Dweikat from the Medical Services), and Sister Yusra Al-Suwaiti, Director of the Affairs of Jericho and Al-Aghwar Governorate.

 

The police team, Al-Istiqlal University, Intelligence, National Security Training Division, Medical Services, and the Ministry of Interior participated in the tournament.

 

This tournament is an opportunity for the security services to interact with each other, exchange experiences, and develop team spirit and cooperation among them.

 

A shield of honor was presented to Lieutenant Colonel Jalal Dwikat from the medical services.

 

In conclusion, the winning teams were honored by Brigadier General Khalifa, where the first place went to the police team, the second place to Al-Istiqlal University, and the third place to the General Intelligence.
